PUBLICITY STUNT SHOWMANCE GONE WRONG?
So we find out last night that neither of the Chrianna costars were going to perform as scheduled for the Grammys.
Then we hear Chris Brown is wanted for busting some broad in the face. There was an argument around 12:30am, someone called the police, Chris fled the scene, the woman was visibly injured and id'd Chris as the cause.
Then came the rumors that that broad was Rihanna, currently the biggest pop star in the world. And off course we start drawing conclusions from the pics of the night before in which she's all over him and he does not look happy.

Chris Brown has just turned himself in to the LAPD.
Brown has been charged with one count felony criminal threats. His bail has been set at $50,000 --
Chris has paid his bail and was released. Next court date is March 5th

Anna Mae does not want to press criminal charges and will not cooperate with investigators. The call made to 911 was no Rihanna but instead a bystander. Therefore charges may proceed
Possible assault with a deadly weapon?
Sources are having diarrhea of the mouth talking about how volatile the relationship has been since it began in 2007. Reports of Rihanna being jealous, checking phones and smacking Chris as well. Infact, there were assault marks on Chris that night as well.
Chris's attorney is Mark Geragos...famed for reppin Michael Jackson in molestation case.

Law enforcement sources have now gotten specific with us... police took pictures of Rihanna's injuries and they are "horrific."
As we reported, the photos show major contusions on both sides of the singer's face -- there is serious swelling and bruising. Her lip is split and her nose bloody. We have now confirmed there are bite marks on one of her arms and on several fingers.
And we now know this... Rihanna claims Brown struck her with his fists and that's what did the damage. There was no object used in the alleged attack.
Rihanna refused treatment at the scene, but before she left cops took photos. We're told the photos alone are "devastating proof of abuse."
And we've learned it was not Rihanna who called 911. Someone in the area heard her screams and called.

Rihanna has been discharged from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, having been escorted out a back exit of the hospital some time during the night.

Rihanna has been reluctant to reveal to investigators specifically what the couple had been arguing about before it turned physical, but the Los Angeles Times is reporting that the Barbados-born singer is cooperating with the authorities' investigation

--Law enforcement sources confirm to TMZ Chris Brown received a text message from a woman while he was driving with Rihanna and that's what started the confrontation that left Rihanna battered and bruised.
We're told the text message was from a woman who wrote about hooking up with Brown later.
We've also learned there is a reference in the police report to an argument over a rapper, but we've learned this is NOT what triggered the argument. The woman who text messaged Brown is not a rapper.
As for Rihanna's injuries, we continue to learn more. Cops took multiple pictures at the scene. Chris Brown allegedly hit Rihanna so hard with his fists, she could barely open her eyes for the photos -- they were almost completely swollen shut. She had a fat lip, her mouth was swollen, her nose was badly bloodied, and she had contusions on her forehead and both sides of her face.

Rihanna, who has the pass code to Chris' phone and constantly checks his voice and text messages, "freaked out" when she found a series of graphic sexual text messages to the R&B singer from a woman that he's been seeing behind her back.
"They had a huge fight, and Chris tried to make things better to get through Grammy weekend," said an insider. "But they were still sniping at each other when they went to Clive Davis party together. But at the party, Rihanna kept checking his phone and she was just driving him crazy."
"It got so bad that Chris, who was drinking wine throughout the night, left the party 30 minutes early and waited for her in the lobby. After the party, she came out and they bickered the whole time that they waited for valet to get the car."
According to the insider, Rihanna continued to "harangue" him about other girls constantly calling and texting him.
"Chris was woozy to begin with, and when Rihanna slapped him during her tirade he pulled to the side of the street in Hancock Park." The source says it was then that the fight escalated and Chris went off on her.
The insider adds that Chris has been trying to break up with Rihanna since New Year's - he's only 19 and wants to see other women, but she didn't want to let him go.
