GILBERT ARENAS v. AL SHARPTON
First, I'm glad they put one of those NBA thugs (yes I said it) out of the league. Second, unlike most I like Al but he needs to leave this alone. Finally, most of these professional atheletes are a disgrace to themselves and their families.

KANSAS CITY FANS WANT LARRY JOHNSON FIRED
Per TMZ, Larry Johnson (otherwise known as Jay z's former or current roommate) and rusher for the Kansas City Chiefs is under scrutiny by the team's fans because of his anti-gay slur scandal last week. Johnson has 80 more yards before becoming the franchise's alltime leading rusher.
As such the fans have started a petition that reads:
"Larry has been a black eye on the organization ... We are asking you, as fans of this team, this organization, and of the pride that this city has in the Chiefs, please deactivate Larry Johnson. Please do not let his name sit atop the all-time rushing leaders in Kansas City Chiefs history."

KIMBO PROVES THAT HE AND RICK ROSS HAVE MORE THAN LOOKS IN COMMON!!
Kimbo lost again Wednesday on Spike TV’s “The Ultimate Fighter” reality show. In a match taped in June, he was smothered by Roy Nelson, a round mound of fighting experience who twice exploited Slice’s inexperience, laid him out in a crucifix position and dropped dozens of light but unanswered punches.
DETAILS
Referee Herb Dean, who allowed Kimbo to be saved by the bell at the end of the first round, called it early in the second.

At least two NFL players are missing after their fishing boat disappeared about 50 miles offshore in the Gulf of Mexico.
Victor "Marquis" Cooper, of the Oakland Raiders, and Corey Smith, of the Detroit Lions, are among the four boaters that the Coast Guard is searching for today.
A 21-foot center-console boat with four people left the Seminole Boat Ramp in Clearwater Pass, Fla., at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, according to the Coast Guard in St. Petersburg. The boaters were supposed to return after dark but never did.
At 1:30 this morning, the Coast Guard received a call from a friend saying that the boaters were overdue. The Coast Guard said the third boater was Nick Skyler and did not identify the fourth person.
Cooper, whose truck and trailer is till parked at the boat ramp where the men left from, is a linebacker with the Oakland Raiders. Smith is a defensive end for the Detroit Lions. Both began their careers with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Officials say the waters in the Gulf are extremely choppy and they believe the boat is in distress.
A Coast Guard 47-foot motor-life boat crew from Station Sand Key, Fla., HH-60 Jayhawk helicopter and C-130 Hercules fixed-wing aircrews from Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater, and the Coast Guard Cutter Crocodile are searching a 750-square mile area west of Clearwater Pass for the missing boaters.

TKO!!!!
7th and 8th round above.
I'd rather get knocked out than to quit like a punk...I smell a set up.
Manny Pacquiao won against Oscar De La Hoya Saturday night (December 6) in Las Vegas. The Filipino superstar toppled a more experienced De La Hoya to take the win by TKO, when ringside doctor called for a halt to the fight -- with no complaints from Oscar -- after an eight round mauling.
The fight was lopsided. De La Hoya looked old and sluggish, and Pacquiao took advantage landing blows almost at will. So many that Oscar's left eye was nearly shut. Right from the opening bell, a reserved Pac Man took his time, fighting cautiously, but still with the speed and fierceness he's consistently showcased throughout his career, and was the aggressor throughout.
When the bell rang for the ninth round, De La Hoya declined to come out of his corner, but did to walk across the ring to congratulate Pacquio for the dominating win. "You're still my idol," Pacquiao told him. "No, you're my idol," De La Hoya responded.
Oscar gave no excuses during a post-fight interview with HBO's Larry Merchant, giving the Filipino fireball all the credit. "He's just a great fighter," De La Hoya said. "I have nothing bad to say about him. He prepared like a true champion. He deserves everything for what he's accomplished."
Pac Man followed with humbleness and happiness for his win. "I think I did well tonight, I'm lucky," he said. "I prepared for this fight and that's why I deserved tonight." The stats told the story: De La Hoya landed 83-of-402 punches thrown, while Pacquiao connected on 224-of-585. Also, Pacquiao landed 195 power punches to just 51 for De La Hoya.
As for the De La Hoya's future? "My heart still wants to fight, that's for sure," said De La Hoya. "But when your physical [game] doesn't respond, what can you do. I have to be smart and I have to make sure I think about my future plans."
