NEW VIDEO:

Jazmin Sullivan "Lions Tigers and bears." I enjoyed this but I must say all she did was stand in front of a green screen. The graphics and what not is nice though. Whoever does that stuff gets all the credit. There's a lil acting in there which is nice. I love the song though.

Unstoppable f/ Lil Wayne

I usually don't entertain C listers unless they are underrated. It's a slow day bc this bish is not only below a C lister...her video is a boring, rihanna biting, wanna be a diva, mess.

Farrah, from the 2nd set of DC who was booted out is back with a new group. Introducing Pheenx. They sound hot. I heard a few more songs and I must say I'm not turning away just yet. We'll see.

OLIVIA NEWTON JOHN'S EX FAKED HIS DEATH?

Patrick McDermott vanished during a fishing trip in San Pedro, California, in 2005, leaving behind his passport, wallet and keys. The 48-year-old was initially thought to have fallen overboard, but his body was never recovered.

On a special last week, investigators (who believe he's still alive due to numerous sighting reports) went to mexico to see if they could find him but could not. They believe he is on a boat sailing along the Mexico coastline between Puerto Vallarta and Acapulco.

Investigators are convinced that the former cameraman faked his own death to escape mounting debts and to enable his teenage son, Chance, to receive a $100,000 insurance payout. Mr McDermott had filed for bankruptcy and fallen behind on child support payments.

He dated Miss Newton-John, the star of Grease, for nine years after meeting her on the set of a television advert, although their relationship was said to be in trouble in the months before he vanished.

She described his disappearance as "heartbreaking" and said: "We miss him. We love him. We're still kind of praying there's a chance he'll come back.

Jumpin' (Out the Window)

Ron Brown "Jumpin OUt the Window.." This is my joint. Pure hotness. Video's generic but who cares when you have and banger like this.

NEW SONG:

Dream produced/wrote this song for Rihanna called "Hatin On The Club." The beat is infectious, the lyrics have nothing to do with the title, and the vocals start to get on my nerve after a minute.

THIS IS WHAT YOU'D SEE IN FAME HEAVEN

In the Junior suit offcourse. OMG it's Paris and Gaga. Her album totally sounds like it's from the perspective of one of he girls trying to be like Paris and the others from the upper east side. This is Gossip Girls in real life. I'm excited to see how these 2 can wreck ish up on the party scene this year.

MAN KILLS HIMSELF AND FAMILY BECAUSE HE GOT LAID OFF?

What the...

So he and his wife decided they wouldn't leave the children alive because they didn't want the kids being raised by strangers. If that's not he most a**backwards logic I don't know what is.

Having said that, I don't know what its like to be in such financial disparity but knowing my tenacity and determination, I am positive that I would not give up on life that easy even if I had to be homeless.

MUSIC MANAGER CHRIS LIGHTY VICTIM OF MADOOF SCANDAL

But Lighty, whose clients also include 50 Cent, Missy Elliott and Busta Rhymes, insists he has not been left broke. He tells the New York Post, "It's nothing to talk about. It's not life-threatening."

FUG A RUMOR: IT'S OFFICIAL

Kelly actually did it

Grapejuice just posted the following

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
January 28, 2009

Joint statement from Mathew Knowles and Kelly Rowland on their amicable professional split:

"After a very positive meeting between Kelly Rowland and myself, we have amicably agreed to end our professional relationship. My company, Music World, will continue to manage Destiny's Child as a group. As an artist Kelly has incredible talent and I only wish her the best. We will always be family first and foremost, and as a dad I only have love for Kelly." ----Mathew Knowles

"Mathew Knowles has been a positive influence in my career. I have had great success under his guidance — both as a member of Destiny’s Child and with my solo projects. Although we have decided to part ways professionally, the Knowles family and the entire Music World Entertainment team will always be my family." ---Kelly Rowland

Like I said, it's about 10 years too late and she probably won't be any bigger as a solo star than she is but who cares. It probably took Latoya coming out and going platnum for her to realize she's been a fool all this time. Michelle you up next!!!

4 REASONS WHY NICOLE IS THE BEST LEAD SINGER FOR THE PUSSSYCATDOLLS

PCD is on their Doll Domination Tour in the UK and apparently they do solo songs at some point. Having seen this I give you 4 reasons why, unlike Destiny's Child in which nepotism played the biggest part in who was selected lead singer, PCD actually picked the ONLY viable option.

NEW JOINT

Christina A "Falling In Love Again"...love the tone love the beat love how she rides it love to mood...hot

RUMOR HAS IT

-THAT Christina Millian was on the set of Dream's video for "rock that ish" (1st single off his new album) and they were displaying major PDA. That would mean she left producer Dre and is now on Dream's nizzuts. This is looking pretty desparate Christina. It may be a natural transition but when you date producers and writers only for the time period that they are hot, it looks a little slorish, if you know what I mean. I'm just saying.

-THAT Kelly and Solange got into it because Kelly didn't think Solange should have performed at some fashion show last year.

-THAT Kelly is leaving Mathew's management. I don't even care anymore.

Heather Mills has decided it would be appropriate to compare herself to her “friend” Hillary Clinton.

“When you marry a Beatle, you marry 120 million fans who are also madly in love with him. This has meant years of hurtful and untrue press… my friends remind me that this happens to many strong, successful women. CHRIS ROCK TALKS "GOOD HAIR" WITH THE WALL STREET JOURNAL

Chris is doing a documentary film about hair. The low-budget documentary traces the growth of the $9 billion industry rooted in the maintenance of African-American hair and its place in ethnic community and culture. Inspired by what he calls his young daughter's "hair envy," or uneasiness with her naturally curly hair, Mr. Rock set out to investigate the nexus of power and politics related to how African-Americans style their hair. Here's an excerpt of his interview with the Wall Street Journal

The documentary includes so many different aspects of the black hair industry, from Hindu temples in India where hair is collected and exported to the U.S., to hair salons that specialize in relaxing hair, to the Bronner Bros. Hair Show. How did you decide what to include?
Mr. Rock: Doing a documentary is kind of like being a cop -- you don't know where it is going, and you just keep digging deeper. I had no idea I would be going to India for the film when we started. And Mr. Dudley -- the guy who owns one of the few African-American-owned hair-product companies -- I met him at an Obama campaign function. I was wondering who these old dudes were, and I thought they must be rich, and the next thing you know, we got the idea of going to the Dudley [headquarters] in North Carolina, where they make the hair relaxer.

The film stays relatively neutral on whether people should alter their hair, relax it, or not. But it explores the political implications of relaxing one's hair. Do you have an opinion one way or another?
When I initially got the idea about doing a hair movie, I was a younger guy and I was dating and I was a little judgmental about weaves and all that. I was more of a Public Enemy and "Fight the Power" kind of guy -- all about natural hair and all that. I'm older now, and a lot less judgmental.

Do you relax your hair?
Not at all. Women really love the film, and I can't imagine men volunteering to go see it, but maybe they will. I make art for every audience. I'm a black guy, so whatever I do is black, but I think that if what you do is good enough, it appeals to everybody. I mean, Chinese food -- it's Chinese, it doesn't include French fries -- but it appeals to everyone, it's the most popular food in America. I think art can be the same way.

You interview a lot of women for the film about their hair, mostly hairdressers, actresses or performers. Why did you decide to interview Al Sharpton?
Al Sharpton was perfect for the film because of his hair. I didn't choose him because he was Al Sharpton or an activist or anything, I chose him because he's got this hair! I mean, the guy obviously puts a relaxer in his hair, so you knew he would have a perspective on this.

Speaking of public figures and their hair, what do you think of Michelle Obama's hair? Does she relax it?
Please, I'm not playing hair police. I think it's beautiful, but I'm not going to speculate. Michelle Obama is not getting a hair critique from me. I can just see the press conference now -- it would be a disaster. There's no way I am ruining my invite to the White House.

So you won't talk about Michelle Obama's hair -- you must be very close to the Obamas. Were you involved in the campaign?
Of course. I donated a lot, a lot of money. I stumped for Obama -- I mean, my tour was pretty much a 5,000-seat Obama rally every night I did so much McCain and Hillary bashing. I like to think I did my part.

OBAMA ON AIR FORCE ONE

The special will be on National Geographic this Sunday at 8 pm.

NEW VIDEOS

John Legend with "Everybody Knows"...Song is cute. He sounds the same. All his songs have the same underlying melody to me. The storyline in the video is not new but good for the song. Legend himself = boring.

Keisha Cole "You Complete Me"...She looks beautiful but this is a lil boring in that she didn't act it out herself. Her performance shots were okay but nothing i'm willing to watch more than once.

As for the song It sounds like a polow beat and i felt i couldn't appreciate it bc her voice dominates it. Polow's beats are meant to be heard along with soft sweet vocals...

DIDDY THE DEVIL

Former Bad Boy rapper Mark Curry writes "Dancing With The Devil" to be release in February. Curry claims that Diddy likes to steal his artists shine and overcharge his artists.

"Puff has an annoying habit of inserting himself into the songs and videos of all the artists on his label and its common knowledge that many Bad Boy acts resented him for this," Curry writes. "Asked about his practice in the July 1995 issue of a magazine aimed at black teenagers, Puff said: 'I like performing with my artists. I like talking on the records and I like being in the videos. It protects my interests in terms of what I’m going to do in the future. Say if a company tries to remove me. It's going to be hard to remove me and still have my acts and [have] the same level of intensity and the same flavour and feeling'."

"Puff charged the artists for his appearance on their records and videos, usually without [them] realizing it until they receive their royalty statements," Curry writes. "That’s when they discovered that their large sums of money had gone to fees which were doubled, tripled and even quadrupled because of Puff's 'special appearances". He charged artists, for example, for having his Bentley in his videos-which he insisted upon- then took tax credit for business use of a car."

KANYE SPEAKS

[KANYE FINALLY SAYS SOMETHING WORTH BEING A QUOTABLE INSTEAD OF A NEGRO PLEASE]
“At the end of the day Bush was a human being and alot of things got overshadowed…this is a real person at the end of the day, who has feelings and hurts too. It’s just a shame he could’ve done more at the end his term to save his legacy in some ways.”

[ON 50 CONSTANTLY MAKING FUN OF HIM]
Just as a real human being, I can’t say that it doesn’t affect me. I was such a fan of 50. As much as people think that I look at myself, I think that me and Lil Wayne are very similar. Even though we believe in ourselves, we’re very much fans of other rappers too. Like how Game is, we really like other rappers. 50 is one of those rappers that I said was the end all be all of what rap what supposed to be. Like a true iconic rapper.

He was my favorite rapper since Mase when he dropped, and when I used to be around him, he was one of the few people that I was like really fan of. I was nervous in the studio working on beats and hoping that I could do a good beat for him. This is even when I had College Dropout and Jesus Walks. Jay Z and 50 are just two of those type of guys you really want to make some good music for. So, for me as a fan of him I felt like if he said something negative and tried to make it like I’m negative it’s almost like if a little kid walks up to you at the airport and is like, ‘Man, I love you so much,” and then you spit on him it’s like (in a joking voice) “I don’t know if I love you as much as I used to,” as you wipe the spit off your face, but you still play their music. I could never have beef with anybody. I’m not here to beef with anybody. I’m trying to bring people together. I realize that my success and my mouth and everything rub people the wrong way every now and then, but I’m not finna have beef with anybody. I really walk around by myself. Like, I don’t wear jewelry. Like all these people are like he’s so arrogant, blah, blah, blah. I’m not arrogant, I’m just truthful. When I talk about myself, there are millions of people that love me, and I just agree with them…..but on a sidebar, it’s good to see a fashion post on thisis50. Look at my influence.

ENRIQUE AND CIARA ON THE SET OF NEW VIDEO FOR "TAKING BACK MY LOVE"

That's Grammy winner Ciara with some gorg makeup, director Ray Kay, and international phenom Enrique

Well I'll be d*mn. Since when does this obama do love scenes with black chicks in a video? 50 gon bust a cap in this bish arse. And so will Anna.

[ENRIQUE TALKED ABOUT HOW THE COLLABO CAME TOGETHER]
“I wrote this song with RedOne [a producer], and we are in the studio talking about it and we thought it would be perfect collaboration between a girl and a guy going back at each other. The first person we thought about was Ciara. I didn’t really know her, but we called her up and she was great. She said ‘send me the track, if I love it I’m willing to do it’. She heard the song and loved it and a few days later she laid vocals on it. She was very easy going, she is a sweetheart.”

First off who does Ci think she is talking about 'if i love it i'm willing to do it.' Bish Enrique is an international superstar you should be kissing the ground that he knows who you are. I'm just saying. All jokes aside, I'm looking forward to this, she's one of my favs.

NOW THIS....IS A FASHIONISTA

CONSERVATIVES IN AN UPROAR OVER JAY Z AND JEEZY

Last weekend, simple negroes Camel Z and Jeezy were at the club in DC bashing Bush and using all sorts of language.....I guess in an attempt to support Obama with their limited intelligence and vocabulary. I'm all for the nonsense but to do this in public given their public persona was in fact stupid. Also, doing things like this somewhat implies that only 'black' people did this...And that could open a whole new can of worms by people who voted for Obama but were offended as well.

This fart Oriely and flip flopping twat Dennis Miller clearly were not feeling that.

Per the other topic they discussed, I'm not sure how I feel about the Gitmo move but just on GP I'll give a F U to Bill Dennis and Fox News.

GAGA SPEAKS

[ON AMY WHINEHOUSE
“Amy is a real artist. I get frustrated when I tour so much that my voice is messed up,” Contactmusic quoted Lady Gaga, as saying.

“But I always say to myself that I watch performances from Amy where I swear she didn’t hit a note, and she was shot and shot deep on something, but I can’t take my eyes off that beautiful girl. There’s something about her that’s so honest,” she added.

She also stated that Winehouse has immense talent, and she is more than a poster girl.

“That was what the Seventies and Eighties were about, and what women were about then, and that’s why legends were created. It wasn’t about manicures,” she said. (ANI)

Amen, performers are just performers but soul artist carry weight. Not lil perfect trolls over saturated in the markets by their machines

WOW QUOTE:

[WHAT CREATOR OF CARTOON THE BOONDOCKS AARON MCGRUDER SAID ABOUT OBAMA]
On the eve of President Barack Obama's inauguration, McGruder is "cautiously pessimistic" about the presidency.

"I don't think you're going to see any dramatic change from Barack Obama," said McGruder, who wore a "Boondocks" T-shirt over a black long-sleeve shirt and jeans. "I'm hoping he proves me completely wrong."

On the topic of race and ethnicity, McGruder said that to him, Obama is not black because he is not a descendant of a slave.

"The person who is one of us in the White House is Michelle Obama and her momma," McGruder said.

I must say I was shocked that this wasn't the general consensus by black america earlier in Barack's campaign given the divide between Black Americans and Black Africans (i guess one thinks they are better than the other)...I'm just shocked it came from him. Needless to say, even though many recommended I watch the show, I sure WON'T be watching is now. And does he really want to go there with the 'one of us' thing. Is he 'one of us?' Just saying

HOW A REAL CELEBRITY DOES IT

Unlike those lames that have fame due to publicist and paying for time, Denzel didn't set up this historic occasion as a photo op and a chance to be seen. He showed up 3 hours early to the inauguration, sat down quietly and waited for others. He didn't see interviews and pose for pappaz. A snap was taken over him as he waited for the even to start.

THE OBAMA'S FIRST DANCE.

Beyonce got to sing Etta Jame's "At Last" which was the theme song of the night. They danced to it at each of the 10 balls they attended. Beautiful.

NEW JOINT: Ciara "Dont Remember"

More stuff on the net from Ci's recording sessions. I don't think this will make the album but it was something she did with Neyo last year. You can hear him on the background vocals.

I get a old Diana motown vibe from this one. Offcourse the subject matter is very relatable. Very deep. She's talking about the fact that she's not a drinker but went out with her man and friends and decided to drink but then found herself the next morning in her clothes in bed and not knowing how she got there. SO many avenues to go with that one.....I love it...vocals and everything.

50's PARTY AT SUNDANCE

Pics of a few of the stars that showed up to 50's party at sundance. They included Chris Rock, Cuba Gooding, Robin THicke, and Jim Carey. He brought Jim on stage in honor of his bday to perform in the club. See performance after pics below.

WHERE WAS EVERYBODY?...The Million Man March v. The Concert at the National Mall

I didn't go to the concert pretty much because I didn't care to see any of the performers showcased just because they are hot at the moment, however sh**ty on the set. I caught the highlights on youtube and needless to say I did not miss much, especially not the annoying yelling/oversinging and overratedness that is Mrs. Carter...that's for sure. Plus Obama would only get about 5 minutes on the stage and I would more than likely see it from a giant TV (not as much of a comfortable setting as my own.

I found this interesting tidbit on Sandra Rose's website. Interesting perspective...

PARENTS NAME CHILD ADOLF HITLER

Supermarket refused to make a birthday cake with his name on it, has been taken away from his parents by authorities, according to a local website.

It's offensive but are we seriously taking kids away from parents because of that? Then I've got a bunch of celebs with asinine names of their kids that I'm offended by
